Zantel to offer unique services to customers
The new sytem of information services from Zanzibar Telecommunication Company,Zantel will modernize the information technology through wireless communication.

Speaking with Bussines Times in Dar es Salaam ,the Production Manager of Zantel dealer BigTone Limited,Edwin Mgoa,said now the company had introduced a new Internet system using CDMA.


The official explained that CDMA sevices provided by Zantel,can be used for voice, fax and data.By using different types of modems such as wireless terminal, CDMA Usb modem, CDMA data card and EVDO.

Mgoa also explain how CDMA network strong is to compare with GSM system by defining that one CDMA tower is equal to 20 GSM tower.
